Amy Albright

Dr. Amy Albright, DACM had her first experiences with “biohacking” 17 years ago, when she used rare equipment to induce theta and other brain waves, creating profound healing and insights for her patients. More recently, Dr. Albright worked full time as an executive for a company called Bulletproof, where she spearheaded the creation of Bulletproof Labs (now called Upgrade Labs), a first-of-its-kind $2M biohacking facility in Santa Monica, CA.

Dr. Albright runs a coaching and consulting practice, advising executives and other changemakers from all over the world. Although she rarely uses needles and herbs anymore, she does work in conjunction with acupuncturists and other doctors and routinely prescribes technology and testing to her clients to optimize their performance.

Stephen Cowan

Dr. Stephen Cowan, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with 30 years of clinical experience working with children. He sub-specializes in developmental pediatrics and is New York State certified in Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Cowan is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of both the AAP Committee on Children with Disabilities and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He founded the Westchester Center for Holistic Families, where he offers holistic evaluation and treatments for children. Dr. Cowan also sees patients at Tournesol Wellness in NYC and is the director of health and education for the nonprofit Tournesol Kids. He has lectured internationally on alternative approaches to health problems in children. Dr. Cowan is the author of Fire Child, Water Child and has contributed chapters to several books about holistic approaches to childhood conditions. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric problems such as attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorders, migraine, Tourette syndrome, asthma, and allergies. Understanding the child as an interrelated part of the family and environment is the central focus of his practice. This approach respects the inseparability of mind, body, and spirit and promotes a deeper understanding of what it means to be healthy.

Shellie Goldstein

Shellie Goldstein’s twenty-six years of clinical acupuncture experience include ten years of teaching about skin, skin disorders, and cosmetic facial acupuncture. She is the author of Your Best Face: Look Younger in 20 Days with the Do-it-Yourself Acupressure Facelift (Avery Publishers) and creator of Touch + Glow: The Acupressure Facelift Kit.

Shellie has been featured in the media on Good Morning America, the Martha Stewart Show, Telemundo, Vogue.com, PopSugar, Forbes, Vanity Fair, and Yahoo Beauty, and in Newsday, Harpers Bazaar, Hamptons Magazine, Prevention Magazine, Self, More, Town & Country, Body & Soul, and Gotham Magazine, among others.

She is licensed as an Acupuncturist in New York and an Acupuncture Physician in Florida. Classes she has taught include Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture at Acupuncture Colleges as part of the curriculum and as Continuing Education in addition to distance learning courses and instructional videos.

Guohui Liu

Guohui Liu studied Chinese medicine with his father, Luyan Liu, Prof. Ran Pin-Zhen and other well-known traditional doctors in China for over 30 years. He earned his MMed in internal medicine from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985 and became an associate professor at the university in 1994. He distinguished himself not only in high appreciation from his students, but also favorable appraisal from his clients and his colleagues. Over more than three decades of training and practicing in Chinese culture, Classics in Chinese medicine and Internal medicine has made Guohui Liu an expert in treating digestive disorders, pain syndromes, male reproductive disorders, and infectious diseases by the combination of Chinese herbs, acupuncture, moxibustion and diet recommendations. He is the author of the highly regarded text, Warm Pathogen Diseases, A Clinical Guide (2001).

Chad Conner

Chad Conner has over 18 years of experience developing and overseeing successful, integrative medicine centers in both the United States and abroad. As a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and massage therapist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, Chad has provided Chinese Medical services to the University of San Diego medical school free clinic, and San Diego Hospice while also running a successful private practice for 18 years. He also served as an assistant professor at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

While abroad for over 13 years, Chad co-founded Ananda Health Center’s in Casablanca Morocco. Ananda was the first Multi- Disciplinary Wellness Center’s in Morocco, offering Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Massage Therapy, Psychotherapy, Yoga, Tai Chi and Reiki. Chad also lead many workshops and residential retreats in Morocco using the 5 elements emotional spiritual correspondences with inquiry based process work. He also had many international experts give trainings and workshops at the Center. His treatment styles included Japanese Acupuncture and process orientated psycho-emotional techniques. During his time in Morocco he founded Institute of Wu Wei, the first Acupuncture school in Morocco which met once a month for a 4 year formation in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I partnered with the oldest Acupuncture School in France, SPERE, and had many students pass their Acupuncture certification in France.

Over the last 5 years Chad has studied and incorporated Cannabis Medicine into his practice and co-founded Pure Ratios.
